KimChi Nguyen is a litigation associate attorney in the Northern California office of LaFollette Johnson, where her practice focuses on representing hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare entities in medical professional liability lawsuits.
KimChi fell in love with the law and litigation at a very young age. She earned her law degree by attending classes at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento at night while working full-time as a law clerk at a highly competitive law firm representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters. She continued her legal career by assisting the managing shareholder at a reputable civil defense firm in Sacramento.
Having worked on both the plaintiff and defense sides of litigation, KimChi brings her diverse experience and unique ability to identify subtleties and intricacies, which affords her to think critically, evaluate any situation with a nuanced understanding and consideration of the other side’s point of view to anticipate their reaction, and determine the most effective solutions to secure the best results for her clients.
KimChi was born in South Vietnam and grew up in Little Saigon in Southern California with her Vietnamese-immigrant family. She is bicultural and bilingual in Vietnamese and English. Every day KimChi tries her very best to do better than the day before to make her mother and (deceased) grandparents proud. She is committed and exuberated to avail her passion and skills to zealously represent and protect the interests of her clients.
