Daniel DaSilva

Mr. DaSilva is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of La Follette Johnson. Mr. DaSilva received a B.A. in History at Florida International University in 2005. Mr. DaSilva attended Pepperdine Caruso School of Law where he received his J.D. in 2019. While attending Pepperdine Caruso School of Law Mr. DaSilva also received a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution as part of the nationally recognized Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Mr. DaSilva also attended the 2018 Tulane MLB Arbitration competition where his team won best oral advocates among 36 schools that were in the competition. Mr. DaSilva was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2019.

Mr. DaSilva joined the United States Army Reserves in 1997. In 2005 he completed Army ROTC and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves. As an officer he spent over 4 years on active duty. With year long deployments to Iraq in 2008 in a Military Police function, Afghanistan in 2012 as Civil Affairs team leader, and in Kuwait in 2014/15 as a Contracting Officer Representative. Mr. DaSilva was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Action Badge during his deployment to Afghanistan.

Dan is an avid fan of the New York Mets, Brooklyn Nets, and Syracuse University Basketball, supposedly a byproduct of growing up in New York. Dan is also a big fan of the television show "Survivor" where he competed as "The Wardog" on its 38th season.
