Jeff Rector rejoined the Los Angeles office of La Follette Johnson in March 2023 as an Associate Attorney. He primarily represents healthcare professionals in medical malpractice lawsuits. He has also handled a variety of general liability matters, employment disputes, elder abuse claims, and toxic torts.  Mr. Rector was previously with the firm from 2013 to 2017, and returned to focus on medical malpractice defense. 

Mr. Rector received his B.A. in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University in 2006.  Mr. Rector continued his studies at MSU’s College of Law, graduating in 2010.  Mr. Rector is licensed to practice in all California state and Federal courts.

Mr. Rector was born and raised in Kansas. During his spare time, Mr. Rector enjoys spending time with his wife and twin daughters, following MSU and Detroit sports, and participating in the life of his church.
