Kristin Roscoe

Ms. Roscoe attended American University Washington College of Law, in Washington, D.C. as a part-time evening student. There, she was a member of the Business Law Brief and served on the editorial board of The Journal of Gender, Social Policy, and the Law as a Note and Comment Editor. While in law school, Ms. Roscoe worked full-time as a senior law clerk in the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives where she managed a federal litigation docket focused on significant constitutional issues, including one case argued during the October 2012 Term of the U.S. Supreme Court.

After law school, Ms. Roscoe embraced the nomadic life of a military spouse and moved to San Diego where she took the California Bar exam. She began her practice by briefly working as a volunteer attorney for the San Diego City Attorney's Office before returning to Washington, D.C. where she worked as the Assistant General Counsel for a large industry's trade association. There, she counseled on political and regulatory compliance and litigated federal and state cases addressing constitutional, environmental, and negligent entrustment issues. Ms. Roscoe returned to San Diego in 2016 to focus on health policy issues, particularly in the areas of rare disease and reproductive genetic health, at a local Fortune 500 company.

Ms. Roscoe is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of California and the District of Columbia. Ms. Roscoe joined La Follette Johnson in April 2018.
