Nicoli Z. Richardson

Ms. Richardson is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of La Follette Johnson. Ms. Richardson received her B.A. in English from Stanford University. While attending Stanford, she was a member of the Stanford Judicial Board and was an extern for the Honorable John A. Houston, United States District Court Judge (Magistrate Judge), in the Southern District of California. While at Stanford, Ms. Richardson was a contributing writer for the Stanford Daily and was a member of the Stanford Pre-Law Society and of the Stanford Black Pre-Law Society.

Ms. Richardson attended the University of Miami School of Law, in Coral Gables, Florida. While in law school, Ms. Richardson was an intern for the Honorable James Lawrence King, Senior District Court Judge for the Southern District of Florida, was a member of the Black Student Law Association and was a law clerk at two litigation firms. After law school, Ms. Richardson began her practice in Los Angeles working as a litigation attorney in the practice areas of general liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, dental malpractice and legal malpractice. She joined La Follette Johnson in October 2011.

In March 2011, Ms. Richardson was named a Regional Finalist for the White House Fellowship. This fellowship is the nation's most prestigious fellowship for public service and leadership. Ms. Richardson is a member of the State Bar of California, the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
