Kimberly Rice

Los Angeles Office


Ms. Rice is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of La Follette Johnson. Ms. Rice received her B. A. in Speech, Radio & TV from Radford University. While at Radford University, she was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society, and an Academic Coach to incoming freshmen. She was also an announcer and news anchor for the campus public radio station WVRU.

Ms. Rice attended Regis University in Denver, CO obtaining her M.A. degree in Legal Studies, graduating with distinction. She went on to attend California Western School of Law in San Diego. Ms. Rice was a legal intern for the Office of the City Attorney San Diego, working in the civil division focusing on employment law. She was also a clinical intern for New Media Rights, assisting tech startups with unique legal issues.

After law school, Ms. Rice began her practice in Rancho Cucamonga working as a litigation attorney in the areas of employment law, personal injury, and medical malpractice defense. She joined La Follette Johnson in February of 2018. Ms. Rice is a second career attorney with over two decades of experience as a broadcast journalist. Her experiences in that profession have served her well as an attorney.

Ms. Rice is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, where she serves in a leadership role for the Science and Technology Section.
