Mr. Fesler joined the firm in 1978 after five years of practice. In 1981, he became a Shareholder and was elected to the Board of Directors. In 1986, Mr. Fesler became a named Shareholder. For more than 20 years, since its inception, Mr. Fesler has been a member of the firm's Management Committee.

In Mr. Fesler's 38+year career, he has consistently specialized in the defense of personal injury litigation. For over 30 years, his practice has been devoted to the defense of all types of healthcare providers, including physicians practicing in every specialty and many hospitals.

Mr. Fesler has tried over 150 jury trials to completion. He holds the rank of Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). ABOTA requires the completion of 100 jury trials to achieve the rank of Diplomat. Mr. Fesler has been recognized by his peers and clients as a premier trial attorney.

Since its inception, in 2004, Mr. Fesler has consistently been selected as one of Southern California's "Super Lawyers." Mr. Fesler is also personally rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell.

In the mid-90's, Mr. Fesler was selected as state wide counsel for the breast implant litigation by one of the firm's many medical malpractice clients, the Cooperative of American Physicians/Mutual Protection Trust.

Mr. Fesler graduated Phil Beta Kappa from the University of California in 1970. He then completed his legal education at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law, graduating in the upper 15 percent of his class. Mr. Fesler was born in Santa Maria, California. He is married to Bobbie, also an attorney, and has two children, Katherine, an attorney, and Christine, a graduate from the UCLA interior design program. Mr. Fesler is an avid reader of murder mysteries, having read each one of Robert B. Parker's novels, among others. He also enjoys boating and weight lifting. Mr. Fesler was recently blessed with the birth of his first grandchild, Madeline "Maddie."
